Now, a fogger is another pest control method that involves releasing many pesticides into the air that ends up killing the pests. Apart from cockroach foggers being highly ineffective, they are also very dangerous. These foggers or pest bombs can be dangerous for you, your family, your pets, and even your property. When the fogger goes about in the air, the fumes can damage the furniture and flooring. If you inhale these fumes, it can harm you immensely. Sometimes foggers can be highly concentrated and are released near gases or electric appliances; this is dangerous as it can result in huge fires.
Alternatives
As mentioned above, cockroach foggers are ineffective and dangerous, to say the least. They do not eliminate the problem but rather create other issues. Cockroach foggers do not address the root cause of the infestation and are not worth the trouble. There are some other alternatives that you can use instead of this to solve the cockroach issue.
Bait
You can use bait to attract the animal and then kill it. It creates less fuss than foggers.
Remove all food sources
Make sure there are no food sources that can attract the cockroaches to your property.
